This is a beautiful vintage oven mitt from either Germany or Austria. It came from a relative of mine who traveled to Germany and Austria, and my memory is leaning toward this glove being Austrian, but I'm not absolutely certain it's not German. It has a colorful, kind of whimsical scene on one side and a recipe for dumplings on the other side. Fabric is 100% cotton. Never used except as decoration, condition is absolutely excellent; that spot you can see along the bottom might appear to be a tear, but it's not, it's where the tag is sewn into the inside and the hem is a little funny for about that 2" spot.
