The cowhair has some small worn places at the top edge of the boots near the pull straps etc., but it only visible when you look closely. Try to remember their age. The bottom soles and OUTER part of heels show some wear. On the lower inch of the heels are darkened and some of the leather cover has peeled off and is gone..SEE PICTURE. Interior leather is good. FYI You must measure your feet if you intend to buy footwear online that fits you.
