Several years ago my mother picked up a bag of buttons at the second hand store. While a lot of the buttons were on cards there were also loners flying around in the bag or in little containers. Several unidentified buttons, such as this Child's Face Button caught our attention as being VERY unique! What a delightful rare piece with its gold hair, red lips and dark eyes. Width of button is approximately 1/2 inch, from top of head to chin is slightly more. Where I see these buttons listed by other sellers they are listed as being glass. I don't know about theirs but I just don't think ours is glass. Maybe hard resin. It appears this is a La Mode button made in Germany. Please contact me with any questions!
