LARGE VINTAGE BEATLES BANNER | LARGE 44.5" X 54.5" | RED AND BLACK NYLON | USED AND FOLDED Silhouette-style Beatles Banner... I acquired this in the late '70's and had it hanging in my college dorm, but I am now parting with it and it's time for a new owner. It was originally available in a few colors. Obviously, this is the black/red one. The lower right corner says "Beatles '67" and according to some online research, believed to be from 1967. We know this image (the original photo this image is based on) is from 1967, but I can't say for sure if this banner was produced the same year. These banners are a very rare find. The size is approx. 44.5" x 54.5". Back in the day, it was made by Free Lance Sales, in Forestville Wi. 54213 (see picture). The material is a nylon-silky material. Condition: Please see pictures for condition. This was folded for decades and as a result, it has wrinkles. I imagine this would look gorgeous after it is ironed properly (I don't iron, but if I did, I'd suggest putting some type of material layer between the nylon and the iron, just as a protective measure). Aside from the wrinkles, we have some of that nylon-type material "fringing" or "threading" out in a few areas. You can see in the photos some fringe/loose threads here and there.
