ELEGANT 1940’S CREAM AND SUGAR IN PINWHEEL STAR CANE DESIGN (I think that is the right name for this pattern) This is a beautiful pair of clear elegant glass (lead crystal?) Creamer and Open Sugar Bowl with a pinwheel star design. Both pieces are generous in their size making them perfect for today’s table setting. These are heavy pieces with each weighing more than a pound. I am not too certain of the maker as they are unmarked. The Creamer measures approximately 3 ” tall x 5” spout to handle and has a scalloped top edge – not the usual sawtooth edge you would expect. The open Sugar bowl measures 3 ” tall x 6 ” handle to handle, and approximately 3" in diameter. It also has an elegant scalloped top edge not the sawtooth edge. Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs that I can see or feel. A nice example of American Brilliant Crystal glassware that will fit into a modern setting.
