The item is made of porcelain with a hand painted decoration. The statue depicts a man with a bird on his arm, and a birdcage in his hand. The statue is marked by the maker (see photos ? looks to be Volkstedt porcelain of Germany). The statue is nicely cast and hand painted with fine details (see photos). The item in total as shown measures about 8 inches high, and it is about 2.8+ inches wide at the base. The statue has no chips, no cracks and no repairs with minimal wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). The statue is vintage.
