The front portion is about 1 1/2" wide with enameled designs featuring an athletic torch and outline of the summit of Broad Peak (Faichan Kangri) with the year of first ascent, 1957. The mountain is also known as "enormous triple-headed Breithorn of the Baltoro" after a similar three-peaked mountain in Europe.
One of those really unique items. It has light wear only, I have not cleaned it, I expect it could be made to look really nice. There is no enamel missing, there is a bare metal spot on the torch but it is the nozzle of the torch and supposed to be like that. It is a spring type clip.
