This is a vintage 1970s miniature Japanese ceramic pitcher, light blue with flowers and what appears to be fans painted on it. Measures 2.5" tall. The flowers are red and white upon purple branches with green leaves, and everything is accented in metallic gold. The color of the pitcher is a little more blue than it appears in my photos (I think it looks a bit gray here). There is Japanese writing on one of the fans; someone I know who reads Japanese took a look at it and told me that much of the writing is illegible, but that it says, "something about red flowers and candy." The markings on the bottom indicate it is from Kyoto, Japan. Condition is absolutely excellent, no flaws or signs of wear, and all the pretty decoration is intact. Asking $3.00 obo.
