This is a vintage Lefton China Mother Goose trinket box, showing our favorite water fowl of nursery rhymes wearing a yellow shawl and a green bonnet with an orange bow. Very cute. She's about 4.5" tall, hand painted and numbered 01784 on the bottom. Looks like a porcelain figurine, but lift off the top half and their's a secret place to hide your trinkets (nobody wants their trinkets just lying around). In excellent condition with no chips or cracks, no wear to the paint, she dates to the 1950s but looks as great now as she did the day she was... hatched? Asking $8.00 obo.
