This is a unique spoon made by the Milford Silver Co. Before it was a common plated pattern, this was part of the original release of a coin silver set for Mr. William Muschenheim, the original planner for many New York icons. Part of the Bauhaus movement, his designs can be seen in The New School, the Guggenheim museum, and throughout new york city and Europe. This pattern was offered in coin and later in plate and was used by the Muschenheim family (and at the Astor hotel; the hotel his family managed in the heart of the city). This spoon weighs 10 grams.
