Reading Brewery was in Reading PA and was in existence from 1886 until 1996 with a little break during Prohibition. The recipes and labels were sold to C. Schmidt Co., of Philadelphia but the true reading drinkers said it was the Reading label but was not the beer recipe they knew. I believe Pabst owns what once was Reading at some point and they began production of a beer under the Reading label. It is 3 1/4 inches long.
