The box is made of wood with a painted and/or gold gilt intentionally distressed worn finish (see photos). The item has a nature theme with leaf shaped cast metal feet and handle on the top of the lid. The box has a lock, but I do not have a key for it (the box is unlocked - see photos). The item is not marked by the maker (see photos). The item is vintage with a distressed antique style. The item is from an estate liquidation (see photos). The item in total measures including the feet and top handle about 10.75 inches high and it is about 16.75 inches wide from side to side at the base.
