This is an original Volvo handsfree integration harness. The later version was PN 30775498, but this earlier version was PN 8640106 - they are functionally the same, just a different manufacturer of the relay was used. This harness integrates a handsfree phone kit (like the Motorola IHF1000 bluetooth carkit) into the vehicle audio system on select model year XC90 vehicles with premium or high-performance sound systems. When the handsfree system is active, the radio audio is muted and the handsfree kit audio is routed to the front speakers. Volvo XC90 2003-2014 This kit features an 8pin connector to mate the the Volvo Bluetoth Handsfree system (a Volvo-OEM version of the Motorola IHF1000/1500/1700 carkit). These connections can be used to connect other handsfree systems (Parrot, etc.) or accessories as well. Available on the connector is: VBatt - constant battery power Ignition - switched 12V power Ground - vehicle power ground Mute - active-low mute trigger Speaker + - differential speaker input to the switching relay (will play through front speakers when Mute is active) Speaker - - differential speaker input to the switching relay (will play through front speakers when Mute is active) I had a mobile electronics installation business and am selling off some excess inventory.
