We are pleased to offer this vintage 2000 GI Joe (Hasbro) WWI Doughboy carrier pigeon cage backpack made for 1/6 scale 12" figures. This includes the cage and backpack piece as well as the pigeon. Carrier pigeons were used for communications during WWI. This toy backpack represents the backpack used to keep the pigeons handy until they needed to carry a message. This backpack will work with World Peacekeepers, GI Joe, Soldiers of the World, Dragon, Ultimate Soldier, and most 1/6 scale 12" figures.
This GI Joe accessory is in very nice vintage condition. Nothing is broken. Includes the cage with removable piece, pigeon, and fabric cover with straps. There are some minor scratches from play. Please see my detailed photos.
