Welcome. This Vintage mid century ribbon and mohair knit sweater from Milan, Italy is in very nice condition. Beautiful deep Burgandy in color. Covered buttons. 3/4 sleeves. Ribbed at waist, cuffs and neckline. Label reads, "Tricots Sport, Modelli Di Alta Classe , diogene, Milano Made in Italy." There is a tiny tag inside near the extra button that has what I believe is an "L" on it. There is no materials tag. The wool of this sweater is fluffy, long stranded like mohair and I did a burn test and it smells like hair. Mohair sweaters coming out of Italy mid century were very popular. Tricot refers to the type of knit or weave. I can't find another ribbon and mohair or ribbon and wool sweater like this so I think this is very unique. It is lovely. Approx size 10 21" across chest 24" length 6" across bicep = approx 12" circumference plus stretch. Full in the body and snugger in the arms. GIves a nice look, not baggy. Nice condition. not stretched out or thinning. does not seem to have had a lot of wear. quick ship non-smoking thanks!
