Unique and historically important set of silver-plated spoons linked to the Polish Armed Forces during WWII. This group includes:
Three spoons engraved with:
1943 Dywizjon 318
kpt/mjr pil. Leszek W?ochowski
Emblems of the 318 Polish Fighter-Reconnaissance Squadron, serving under RAF command in the Middle East and Italy. These are likely mess or commemorative items belonging to an officer of the unit.
Two spoon engraved with the name ?Stanis?aw Srokowski?, member of the 2nd Polish Corps, which fought in the Italian Campaign (notably at Monte Cassino). A rare personal artifact tied to the Polish military in exile.
Several additional silver-plated antique spoons with Polish and British emblems and inscriptions, including visible hallmarks and crests.
Condition:
Good vintage condition, with wear consistent with age. Some engraving partially worn. No polishing done ? original patina preserved.
