The Wheel of Life Mandala, also known as the Bhavacakra or Samsara Chakra, is a symbolic representation found in Tibetan Buddhism and other Buddhist traditions. It illustrates the cycle of existence, suffering, and the path to enlightenment. The mandala is typically depicted as a circle divided into several sections or rings, each of which contains various symbolic elements. Here's an overview of its key components: Central Hub: At the center of the mandala is a depiction of a pig, a snake, and a rooster, symbolizing ignorance, aversion, and attachment, respectively. These represent the three poisons that keep beings trapped in the cycle of samsara (the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth). Outer Ring: The outermost ring contains twelve segments, each representing one of the twelve links in the chain of dependent origination, which explains how suffering arises.
