I have White Bleeding Hearts for your yard! I would expect these plants to have flowers next spring. I pot these up when they are quite small and give them time to "grow up" before selling. These plants are now dormant. Bleeding Heart plants grow very early in the spring and bloom early. The plants go dormant (all leaves and stems die back) anytime between summer and fall. They remain dormant for the winter. Underground the roots grow happily and when early spring comes they are among the first plants to grow and send up their delightful stems of buds which then charm us with their dangling heart shaped flowers. Plant them now so they can expand their roots in your garden and be ready to grow and bloom early next spring! I will ship these plants as bareroot dormant plants. Coming out of pots approximately 4 inches in diameter. I will package these roots to keep them from drying out in transit. They should be planted immediately when they arrive at your house! Photo of potted plants is an example of the plant size I am selling. However what you receive will have no leaves and will not grow any leaves this fall. Bleeding Hearts generally prefer a bit of a shady area. They grow very well in our woodland area and also do well in flower beds with direct sun part of the day.
