This ornate black cast iron trivet is stamped Wilton (established 1935 in Wrightsville PA) and American made. This design is often called "Tree of Life". It is heavy and smooth without pitting on the surfaces. It has four raised feet and stands level on the table surface. It has a natural rusty patina consistent with its age and use.
