Descripción del Artículo

c.1910 WSC Horn Handled Milk Glass Stein /Mug –Brown cased with a Standing Elk Monochrome Transfer. Made by Westmoreland Specialty Company in the early 1900’s , Mug was made to look like Rookwood pottery. A Momochrome transfer of assorted Tavern scenes, elks, or mottoes were used to decorate them. Stein/Mug in nice condition –has one wee chip on edge of the ‘horn’ –see pic. Any agelines [small hairline cracks] are due to age and nature of /or elements in the glass mixture and will be found in most old milk [opal / opaque] glass. Please let me know if you’d like more history and where to find reference materials on items like these from WSC. I’d be happy to give you the info I do have and where you may ask for even further help. See Reference –‘Westmoreland Glass’ by C. W. Wilson pages 103 223. This mug was made by the Westmoreland Specialty Company [1889-1924]-forerunner of the Westmoreland Glass Company [1925-1984]. *NOTE: NO INTERNATIONAL SALES. Thank you for looking! NO Returns--items are as described and asis. [only exception is if I inadvertently sent a completely DIFFERENT item than was pictured. Please ask any questions prior to BUYING! More photos can be sent to you –let me know what you need! I will usually Ship as soon as possible [One business day] AFTER payment is received or cleared. Multiple purchases will be combined, if possible, safe, and/or less expensive. Glass will be well packed.
