Gorgeous Vintage 1950's Stetson China 2pc and similar items

Beautiful vintage 1950's Stetson China Pink Tulip hand painted under glaze ceramic 10.25" dinner plate set! Rio design with this sweet pattern is a bright and vivid with pink tulips blue gray brushstrokes on cream background. These lovely plates are ready to bring the glam to any vintage inspired kitchen or tablescape. Will mix and match with so many other mid century dishware pieces. Perfect addition to any mid century Stetson China dish collection! The Stetson China Company in Illinois was a family owned business that operated from 1946 to 1966. The company started as a decorating and distribution firm in Chicago in 1919. In 1946, Joseph Stetson purchased the Illinois China Company in Lincoln, Illinois and renamed it the Stetson China Company. Plates are in excellent vintage condition! The usual pre-loved light surface wear, each one has a tiny ding to edge of rim (see pics) from years of Madge storing these beauties in her china cabinet, but nothing that distracts from these treasures of dinner time history. We do our best to offer pristine inventory, in clean as a whistle condition for our buyers, however we do not wash fragile items, as not to damage any finishes which may mean that they could be dusty from years of storage. We are also known for our pride in gorilla proof packaging (especially fragile items) and on occasion will use excellent condition recycled packing materials too. This helps keep our shipping prices lower and helps the environment for a win-win! Unfortunately with shipping it is all about location, so sometimes shipping from our east coast location to the west coast, the costs have risen significantly in recent years, so we are always open to utilizing various couriers other than standard postal service to help save money!
