Descripción del Artículo
Origin of Bedouin Tea
Our wonderfully refreshing and healing Bedouin Tea is made from the traditional bedouin herb Habek/Habaq (M) which is native to Egypt. An ancient herb, it is also mentioned in the Bible as a currency, hence why it is also known as Bible Mint.
Bedouin tea is a traditional, spiced black tea offered as a symbol of hospitality, but . While it can be served at other times, including during Iftar (the evening meal that breaks the fast), it is not allowed to consume tea between the Suhoor pre-dawn meal and sunset. Bedouin tea is traditionally enjoyed year-round as a symbol of hospitality, but it is consumed only after sunset during Ramadan
Bedouin tea is a strong, sweet black tea with herbs and spices, traditionally served as a sign of hospitality by Bedouins in small glasses. While it is not exclusive to Ramadan, it is commonly served during the evening meal (Iftar) to break the fast.
